Hello all,

Sorry if this is posted under the wrong heading.

Last night, I started doing the NEW exercises, raising energy through my feet up my thighs into the storage centre etc.

I do this everynight, but have found recently that I keep falling asleep before my mind has cleared. I think this is partly due to the [obvious] fact that I'm doing NEW at night, but also because I'm under a lot of stress at work and am mentally exhausted come 10pm.

Last night however, as I was doing NEW, I hovered on the edge of sleep and many dream images and even partial dreams kept bubbling through.

Then, I suddenly broke away from 'normal' consciousness and weak vibrations began flowing through my arms and chest. I've learnt now not to even attempt to make them grow, because every time I try this, they simply dissapate.

Instead I acted passively towards them, and focused instead on the now 3D blackness I existed in.

Imagine my surprise when a pair of beautiful eyes appeared; staring intently at me. They belonged to a beautiful female face that softly manifested and then disapeared.

Then, another face appeared: it was that of a handsom but rugged man, who again, had startlingly beautiful eyes.

In both cases I KNEW that there was a soul behind those eyes.

The appearance of these faces did surprise and perhaps scare me a little.

Finally, I saw a humanoid face. I say humanoid, because I can't explain whether it was human, monkey or something else! I sensed mischeif, and I wanted to end the experience there.

I forced myself 'back' and rolled over and fell asleep within a few minutes.

I do not think that these faces were hypnagogic images, as I'm familiar with these, and indeed, experienced them shortly prior to the appearance of the faces.

I would love any feedback on what you think this was.
