This moring while sleeping in I went into another semi lucid dream state after waking and falling asleep a few times. I found myself in a unfamiliar room with a door slowly opening. When it was finally open half way a tall shadow figure walked partially in the doorway. Behind the shadow was just a bright white void. The shadow just stood there and seemed to look at me. I didn't feel really scared at all. I just wanted to confront the shadow and find out its purpose. Then I woke up. The question I have is if anyone knows if this shadow it dangerous or what it is?

sorry to burst your bubble, but if it was a lucid dream - it was still a dream. I personally saw plenty of weird being in my dreams, lucid and unconscious. I don't think the shadow had any partucular importance.

I have to agree with Veles on this one. After 'false awakenings' the hypnopompic state is easy to achieve, and with it all it's unpleasant (or pleasant, depending on your viewpoint) side-effects.
