Hello all!
I've been experiencing a very strange alteration to my vision-about 6 months into my energy practice I began to see a sort of double over people and objects whenever I attempted to "activate" my auric sight. It's transparent, and It is clearest when there is bright daylight.
While it's interesting....it's not of much use. I'm not seeing a colored aura at all, and this energetic reflection( or whatever it is) gives me no information...it's pretty, and all that....but seeing colored aura's would definitely be prefferable. Has anyone else experienced this, or have any idea what this is? Am I seeing an aura of some sort? Thanks for your input=)

Clairvoyant sight can begin this way . If you practice daily with the third eye it will develop quickly . Open in protection , raise energy and sit in meditation, looking at your visions when the mind quiets and looking thru the 3rd eye at other people to practice . Here is a link ;

That is the way I see 'auras' (a person's or thing's energy field). For whatever reason, I don't see the color information.

Actually this level of sight can be useful to some degree.

At this level sometimes you will see transparent almost bubbles stacked on top of each other. I see this when someone is talking about multi- facetted or complex issues in a deep an meaningful way. You will start noticing little things like this around the head and they can be indicators.

This sounds like something that I have noticed too. Sometimes when I am on the bus to work I will be half asleep gazing 'through' people rather than actually looking at them and I can see a kind of outline of their body. It is a kind of transparant light, a sort of glow.

A friend of mine told me that this is the etheric body and it is usually seen before the aura. He said that it was a good indicator that with practise I may be able to see auras.

Don't know how true this is but just thought I would share it with you.

Hi - I'm reading a book I just picked up - Rose Rosetree's "Aura Reading". It's the BEST book I've gotten so far on learning to see auras.

She talks about learning to see them however YOU are supposed to see them - that you don't have to see colors to be able to see auras. This 'thin veil' is exactly what she talks about learning to see.

I'm actually starting to see this veil myself after reading this book!

I have to say that it might be better to have a partner to go through some of these exercises with as she describes but I'm getting benefit from the book without a partner to work with.
