At night the body produces specific hormones that help to get very relaxed physically and mentally (serotonin etc.). Some of these require the lack of sunlight to be produced. So it's easier to do OBE at night or in the early morning, it's physiological. Of course technically we can go obe whenever we want, but the question was the [b]best[/i] hour to induce OBE. So saying that we can do it anytime does not help a lot

Have any of you ever tried the SunEye method? It was the first method that actually got me to have my first OBE. What you do is go to sleep for six hours, wake up, wash your face or whatever and do somthing for an hour; then go back to sleep. Now, while I was doing this I had been desiring deeply to have an OBE for about a month when i first read about them. So be sure to have a strong STRONG desire to OBE. It worked great and I was out for about an hour the first projection, then I came back to my body, but the vibrations were still there so I could leave again!! I was out for another half hour or so! IT WAS GREAT! Try it and see if it works for you, it got me out my first time.

Well personally I have only projected in the early morning when I was totally relaxed. Im not the best at obe's but I found that it is a good time in the morning and was still laying down in bed. I really dont think it matters what time of day or how you are positioned what matters is that you are totally relaxed (asleep) and that your mind is awake. That is what makes mornings so good for me is that my body is still asleep and my mind is awake so I dont have to put forth a whole lot of effort to attempt a projection. Just my 2 cents.

In my case I discovered this by accident (even with a job, lol). I had been having horrific back problems (which are better, thank you) which caused me to get up at 4 to 5 am (depending on how early I go to bed) and had to sit up (in my recliner) and after a while my backache would go away- so every morning I was getting up and sitting in my recliner (which is very comfy) and could sleep another 2 hours in the chair (but no longer) and wake up pain- free. So I decided to try my projections then, and voila- I started projecting much more often than before.
So children- don't run around with scissors either! |

I have been able to have them at night right when i am ready to go to sleep, I have tried very hard during the day and had a few short trips, but for me I have to be very tired to achieve OBE's, so night time is best for me, I think it all depends on how easily one can fall into the trance state, not so much when.
