Standing, as a way to OBE
Let’s just say that you have more than one body. You have a physical body, but you also have a dream body. This dream body is very busy, all night long. You can really get in touch with this dream body if you are able to have lucid dreams. This dream body is accessible at any time of the day. In deep meditation, just short of deep sleep, you can focus your attention on this other body. You can feel it. Find it through feeling your own body. Go through your body, not outside of it. This is crucial to line up the portals between dimensions. Sense it, feel it and realize how deep your sense of self goes. There is this subtle, spiritual body that you can walk into if you choose. Pick a time to lie down on your favorite spot or recline in your chair and relax. Relax. Relax your physical body and your conscious mind. That means to slow down the tension inside your body and relax it and to observe your thoughts and see them all fall away because of the ignition of the higher body. That’s it, that’s the secret. You must focus all your attention on the higher body. Imagine, visualize, and participate. See and feel your new body. Sense it. Feel it. Now focus your new attention on the room you are in. Focus all your attention on all the small objects, the furniture, and door. Get a real sense of what it would be like to stand up, beside where your physical body is laying, and walk through the closed door. Imagine this as your new reality, that which all your attention is focused. At the same time, while doing this exercise of paying full attention, you enter the deepest state of relaxation you can imagine. Totally relax the body and mind. Think no thoughts, only the experience of standing beside your body in your room. Soon, your conscious mind will enter sleep. As it does an energy shift occurs that catapults you into the next dimension. These are referred to as vibrations. Don’t panic and don’t focus on them. Just stay alert and focused on your new destination, just standing beside where your physical body rests. And you are there, out-of-body. |

SOunds like a good technique to me. Ive only had one OBE and Im not sure if I was really out of body becasue i never did anything while i was out and I dont remember what I did while I was out for the short period of time. Most of the techniques that I do at night make me have extremely lucid dreams....is that normal? Does anyone know if it is normal to have lucid dreams when you try to OBE?
Im going to try the method tonight and let you know what happens. |
