I have never remember projecting before, but have in the last year have had many dreams where I find myself in my bed vibrating crazily, but I have no memory afterwards. I had always thought they were just dreams and didn't think it was strange until hearing about astral projection. Two nights ago with this new knowledge that it is possible to leave the body I had a strange dream. I was sitting with a man, a woman, and a little girl, and the woman said we should group project. I felt my body and it started vibrating, but I was still in the dream I was not in my bed as previously. I felt like I was inside my body moving upward in it, I felt a rushing sensation and the sensation of moving upward and remember seeing a grayish outline of a lotus. My memory seems blank here and then I return to my body, but I'm still with the same group of people and the dream continues. Do you think I just dreamed I was projecting or actually projected from a dream and returned to the same dream. Anyone have a similar experience or comment?

Some people project from lucid dreams, and some people's projections turn into lucid dreams. There's more info here: http://forums.astraldynamics.com/viewtopic.php?t=2035

Just to share. I've had dreams like yours.
Most recently: I am sitting in an audience listening to an expert on astral projection. A girlfriend and her husband are in the row in front of me and my hubby to my right. Suddenly, the speaker stops looks at me and makes his way to just in front of me. My girlfriend's looking back at me all in awe. The speaker says, "Hmm, let me help you with that" and puts a hand on my head and right shoulder. My skepticism kicks in, but then I think well my beautiful 24 year old friend is right under his nose.... Then the vibrations start big time in the dream. He says, "There you go Shining One" and I'm suddenly awake and absolutely buzzing. But, alas, no projection. |

Nick, you wrote, "thanks for all the info, this vibration state right after a dream seems to happen to me often over the past year, but my memory always blanks out, any tips on this?"
Some things that MAY help: 1) A dream journal (I prefer a small hand-held tape recorder since it would take too long to write it all down sometimes). This helps recall as well as providing an objective perspective when listened to the next day. 2) Practice, practice, practice. That's what they say, and sometimes it works. Practice what you think are the best techniques for you to induce and remember the post-vibrational state. 3) I recommend Halpern's cd "Spectrum Suite," or, I guess, "Chakra Suite." For me, the tones actually do seem to work on my chakras and increase my abilities. 3) Grow older. Maybe it's in your Soul Evolution to mature and exist in the material world right now. Maybe later in life you will be ready for and/or rewarded with mad recall ability. You might consider chucking it all. Perhaps you need to forget about it and then come back to it in a few weeks, months or even years. |
