AP interests me for many od the reasons others listed also. I find it fascinating and challenging. I have now had one obe and it was awesome!!! I believe now that there is "more" than just being and existing here on earth. I got into it just out of curiosity, thinking it would be cool if true. I am now convinced it is and is a blast.

I concur with your words wstein.
There are actually infinitely numerous reasons to explore worlds that exist broader and differently to the one we anticipate to perceive personally. However I could not give my total opinion in one thread. I have written an essay about this exact same topic if you are interested in reading it. You can download it here (part A). |

I am interested in OBE because I want to learn more about the aspects of reality that influenced the development of religion and religious philosophy on Earth. I've always been interested in spirituality and mysticism, and wanted to explore these things first hand. I've been lucky to have had some encouragement and out of the ordinary experiences in my life (as a very rational person) to accept the possibility of the seemingly impossible, enough to pursue these paths.
