Default ***** After Projection, Then What? *****
I'm just starting the program, but I like to think ahead sometimes. A question occurred to me. After I reach the goal of conscious projection and become relatively proficient at it, then what???

What constructive and useful things would someone want to do? Don't get me wrong, astral projection has always been a strong interest and goal for me, I'm not trying to be negative at all. I'm just curious if anyone here has gotten to that point and can suggest some useful endevors for people to do once they've reached their initial goal of projecting.

Thanks!

You can heal yourself by imagining improvements in your nonphysical body. I had a toothache and fixed it by looking at my teeth in a mirror while out of body and visualized them to appear perfectly healthy.

You can also try remote viewing, here's an experiment I'm doing which you can try:

Bruce Moen's books have a lot of info on contacting people who have crossed over, you might try that.

An easy way I've found to enter a 'random' higher plane is to walk through a mirror because they tend to teleport you to other areas. You can also use a mirror for introspection and see how your body would look if it was in its ideal state.

Stuart Wilde wrote about stepping into a mirror then turning around and looking back at yourself, but I haven't tried that. But there're probably a lot of ways you can use an OBE to work on yourself

I am a 48 year old woman who has been projecting since I was about 6-7 and I can tell you that you never stop learning. Once you master the projection, you find out that every experience is different and the same things don't always work. When you get good at controlling what you can do (if you ever do, that is) then comes the exploration. You see, you're not only exploring out there in the 'astral' with direct access to the collective consciousness, but also in with own subconscious. Knowning yourself takes a whole new dimension when you are interacting with your own creation. It's a lifelong learning process.

Thanks to both of you for your responses. It will help fuel my enthusiasm while I'm working on my 1st goal of APing. Yes, CFT, its a good point that this all is a lifelong learning process/adventure. And Matt, I think its pretty cool that you are doing these experiments. They're almost game-like and add a nice dimension of fun. Once I get to the point where I'm relatively "stable on my astral feet" so-to-speak, I'll definitely be looking forward to participating!

It's hard for me to answer your first question "now what?"

Imagine that you've grown up within your house - never leaving the house - ever. Not even looking out the window. You know nothing about the outside - no phones, no tv, no computer. No contact with 'out there'.

Then someone tells you about this other world "out there". And that there's a "door" to get there somewhere in your house - been there you whole life, you just didn't know it... And then they hand you the key for the door.

Now you know about the door (you have to find it), and a little bit about 'out there'...

THAT's what it's like. There's a 'whole world out there'. Infinite possibilties - you might discover new ones that no one has found yet.
