Hi! This world is very new to me. Yesterday I found myself doing some research on OOBEs and astral voyages and found it very fascinating.
I've always been very connected to the "dream world", I dream awake a lot and I love to sleep so....why not? Today I tried to do the things I read about on the web. Didn't really know how to do it but something very weird happened to me. I laid on my bed, closed my eyes and tried to empty my mind of thoughts. Tried to focus on the light images that my eyes saw while closed. By thought, tried to tell my body to go to sleep. I think it worked! I suddenly lost my body sensibility like it was asleep. It was more intense in hands, arms and legs. As I moved my eyes up (while closed) something strong grabbed me and it felt like it was shaking me and surrounding my head. The tiny noise in my head became louder. My whole body increased in temperature, my heart increased in speed so much that it looked like he was coming out of my chest. It scared me. I started shaking. It almost looked like I was going to faint because I was losing all my sensibility. And then I lost it... I think I lost my concentration or maybe I did something wrong...I don't know... I tried this 2 times and both times the same thing happened and stopped at the same stage. Do you think that heart thing might cause me an heart attack? I've been reading about it taking months and years so I'm happy that I found this in the first time. What should I do next? Is there a tactic to go further? Thanks |

Shirley, Great job!! I second CFtraveler's advice to read more, inundate your mind with information on OBE. I am new also, and it is frightening exiting the first few times. Just stick with it!! It is worth it, believe me!! Please read my post - russmi3 AP Log - if you want too. I update it everytime I have a new experience.
Happy Travels!! |
