I have major problems with my eyes rolling back in my head and interrupting my trance sessions (painful, sometimes). I asked Robert Bruce what he suggested, and he said to try meditating with eyes closed and focused upward on the brow chakra. That will get your eye muscles used to being in that position, if you do it every day for awhile.

I don't know if that will help your situation with the twitching eyes, but it's worth a shot.

One thing Brian told me is when the twitching becomes a problem (in my case it was related to tiredness) to do the energy work with my eyes open. It worked- and it's an interesting feeling. I just stare at one spot on the ceiling intently.

I have this sensation also when doing relaxation techniques. Eyes flipping back and forth, eyelids flickering. I also have had it go so far as to cause headache/pain in temples. If I concentrate on going deeper it stops.
