Excuse me, sorry for my lack of introduction, but ever since I first heard of Robert Bruce, and the AstralDynamics workings, I've been practicing AP for quite some time, and have managed to have many successful OBEs/Projections. I started moving alot, about two years ago, and my world has been quite wild, up until just a week or two ago, when I became stable again. I have a few friends who both do and don't believe in Astral Projection and its likenesses, one of them believes, but has no proof, nothing solid, so she is restricted and cannot project. The other refuses tcompletely to acknowledge the things I described on previous adventures.
Now that I am projecting again (Or at least trying, no success over the last week.), I want to be able to, once I have it down again, to offer a chalange, to ask them to write a letter, or draw a picture, for me to recognise and relay to them, but I'm not sure if it is possible to conciously go from where I live (Lomita CA), to a place such as Seattle Washington, and cognatively find this female friend, report to her what I've seen, and give her the peice of mind; the male as well, and set myself at ease knowing that I aided her in her development. My overall question being: Is it possible to conciously traverse such massive distances, of my own will (While projecting), and accurately see something such as a picture? Or is control too limited to do such a thing? I wait patiently for your replies. -- Ryukaki. |

I've only done this spontaneously, but based on what I've read around here....
Yes, it is indeed possible, but takes a lot of focus and concentration from what I understand. Massive distances can be covered in a heartbeat, but folks say that it takes a lot of concentration to stay in the "Real Time Zone" without being subject to reality fluctuations. The fact that you're trying to project to a location where you have a friend is good... I hear it's easier to locate to somebody if you're close with them, have some kind of personal connection with them. I'm sure it would also help if you had previously been to their place, but it's probably not necessary. I'd recommend a picture over a letter... something very bright and colorful and easily recognizable, in an easy to reach location, but something very distinct so that you can't just guess it off hand. I think text is probably too subject to fluctuations. And of course the key to it all is being able to remember the experience. Since you have probably about 10-15 good minutes in the RTZ, I'd say you should get to your friend's place ASAP, locate the picture, have a good calm look at it without trying to guess or project what you think it might be (as that can affect what you're looking at) and pop back to your body, entering and yelling very loudly what the picture was so that you have a better chance of remembering it. Let us know if it turns out... |

Well, thanks for all your input. It's quite relieving to see that there's at least the ability, even if not something immediately available to me. The hard work is well worth the reward in the end, so they say.
I'll be sure to let her know about the Picture over Letter idea. Sounds like it's memorable enough to work. I've got alot of practice and technique under my belt previously, and I used to be able to move about just my house in the RTZ for short periods of time, but was unsure if it was possible to cross large gaps. Your reassurances of it's possibility will be all I need to know I can do it. As long as it's possible, that's all I need. As for Remote viewing, I've had some interest in it, but my idea, on a personal level, is to prove the existance and possibility of travel, however limited, through the physical world, while in astral body. Not just paranormal events. She's been practicing Astral Projection alot as of late, her father used to do it, and I believe that her skepticism as for its actuality prevents her from experiencing something that I would say is one in a million. When I did my first projection, all my skepticism, however light, was gone without a moment's notice. I've converted from Christianity, to Buddhism as well, because of spiritual persuit. If there's anything in my power I can do, my point being, to help her experience this as well, and to aid my male friend in his skepticisms, well, I'm gonna do it! |
