Thanks, PHG!

Your experience of that "putting on a glove" sensation is rather how my first return from a spontaneous OBE felt.

Past life regression work sounds fascinating... I had one week that I spent calling on past lives to manifest in dreams, and it was a very intense week. Like I literally got the most stressful events of those lives, which I suppose is because they were the easiest to recall.

For instance, I had a dream that I was an Italian construction worker, I believe working in the back streets of Chicago, perhaps after the great Chicago fire. Family was important to me. I loved the back streets jungle, with the bricks and wood and new construction going on.

Anyways, I was messing around with my buddies, walking up on the high beams and the like... I was not afraid of heights. I climbed a ladder on this particular beam, crossed the beam, then came down from a ladder on the other side. Well, I didn't know it til I saw her, but this little blonde girl was following me and she lost her balance up on the beam and fell. I ran for her and really really THOUGHT I had her... but she fell to the ground and was either badly hurt or killed in the fall. I felt some really horrible guilt that I had not caught her, and blamed myself for her having followed me up onto the beam.

In another dream I was the wife of a tribal shaman, likely a Native American tribe, and we used to spend a lot of time out in the woods on long journeys, just the two of us. Somehow my husband was killed and I remember feeling the incredible grief at his passing, so heavy on my shoulders that I couldn't even hold myself upright when I walked. The sight of our shared belongings, as few as they were, fueled that grief to the point that I didn't want to know that life anymore, and I walked to the top of the cliff over a lake and jumped. I distinctly remember the feeling of my spirit separating from my body, so that while my body fell, my spirit flew upwards like a bird and left that life.

It's some intense work to undertake.
