Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum and I'm presently pursuing AP techniques. Haven't had any luck but still trying.

What I'm wanting to know is when one is out of their body, can information be obtained as in science for example. I've heard that some people can touch a book/ text book and receive the information from the material as well as use it. Is there any way possible for this when someone astrally projects?

Any info helps. Thanks.

me too and i dont really know what you mean by obtaining information as in science but if you speak of learning lets say from books. while out of body i think it is possible but you need a very tricky method because your logical mathematical and analytical thinking are normally very weak while out of body. look at it like that:

You are out of body. you find an interesting book and want to read it. you open the book and you see that there is text. you will possibly see the shapes of the letters but you wont recognize them as letters or it will be very hard to do so so reading a book while out of body is kinda impossible. the same is true for audio and video tapes.

Thanks for all the replies. I guess in thinking on all the responses that it would be easier to "inhabit" someone's body and probe their mind for the information. Not trying to be unethical with this statement but it would seem to be more practical. However, thanks everyone for your input.

That's kind of what i'm talking about but more towards the absorbtion of knowledge in general. Something like a "genetic memory" after coming in contact with an object/ person you can receive their knowledge. If this makes any sense.

It is my belief that your higher self already knows everything- that by acknowledging this in itself can you open avenues of gaining some of this knowledge in this lifetime. However, having said that, whatever you decided you had to "know" or learn, is what will be allowed for you to know/learn, not because of some 'cosmic law' but because it's the reason you came here in the first place.

A lot of people in this forum have had access to the 'Akashic Records'- looking around may help you more specifically.
