Anyone else get this phenomenon?

I had a "dream" that had my long dead grandmother, who met me inside a room with a few other people. The dream was more complex than this, but the people and her were showing me how to multitask or do 2 things at the same time (involving music in which I was once involved), and they were almost trying to chant or invoke something.

It involved some ritual that revolved around some potted plant with a statue and some rocks half buried in the planter glowing.

THe people were rubbing these rectangular objects , which were glowing as well. Eventually I figured out what they wanted from me and I said oh here.. and did something and poof the "ritual" was over.

To make the long story short. The rectangles were clasps that held "books" locked. Once they glowed and I was able to finish the ritual (which wasn't much more than singing and playing an instrument etc) this book opened.

My grandmother opened the book to a page and showed me. I looked and it was like a HUGE RUSH of emotions swept over me like I've never felt in my entire life. It was pictures of me as a child, and lost memories that I don't remember with my grandma, that I sort of remember now. They were really intense feelings.

I never had a feeling of love like that in my life, and when I flipped through the pages and saw the different scenes they were all scenes of me with family near a beach or in happy moments that most I don't remember but do... sort of. But I was too young etc.

Anyway, I was promply woken up and that feeling of love was with me when I woke up.

I tried to go back into that dream but could not exactly.

Has anyone else dreamt of balls of light taht turned out to be relatives or people? Have you ever had your grandparents visit you in a dream and show you stuff in a book?

I've read a few people who've had this only after I've ahd this dream. I never knew of it before this dream.

Could this have really been my grandma??

I have a recurring dream that I go to the house where my grandmother used to live while I was growing up. In present it's a business, but I have such strong happy memories there that I often visit in OBE/dreams. (I haven't been there in over 20 years in the physical, though.) The last time I was there (in dreams, I think) I went over to my great-grandmother's room, where she had a giant statue of Jesus as a child (a santeria statue, and as children we weren't allowed in there). Instead of the office, there was a light, started as a point that got brighter and brighter until it turned into a young woman made of light, and I felt such love from her that it moved me very profoundly. (your description reminded me of this feeling.) I don't know if this was my great-grandma, who died when I was 16 at a very advanced age (like over 100) but that's the feeling I got. I had never seen her young (no pictures either) but she was beautiful.
