Default OBEs and piercings
I read somewhere Robert Bruce saying something about his friend who had trouble getting out of his body because of his tongue piercing, and from this Robert concluded that, I guess, having piercings will keep you from having a successful exit.

(Of course, I just think now of the huge percentage of people with ear piercings, but never mind that)

Anyway, I doubted this, for a lot of reasons, and was justified in my doubts this morning.

I've got a prince albert (genital piercing) and have been afraid that I'd have to take it out for this reason. This morning, though, I had an OBE, p.a. intact.

Anyone had issues with OBEs and piercings?

I think this falls into belief. If you believe your tounge piercing will make it more difficult for you to project, then it might. If you hold no such belief, then however many piercings you have got won't make a difference.
When I got piercings, I noticed no change in my ability to project.

If tongue piercings do indeed interfere, it may not be because of the hole in your body, but because if you have a large pearl or something that keeps you from getting completely relaxed...then it would be a comfort issue-not a piercing issue. Does that sound like it makes sense?

That's an okay hypothesis, but I think that if a person with a tongue stud was unable to find it comfortable, even after having it for a long time, it probably wouldn't last long. In the culture, that is.

But you might be right.
