In it, Strieber even describes physically grabbing particular negs with his hands and pounding them into salt, if I remember correctly.

That's possible since psi balls can be hand driven.
By other hand "pounding them into salt" seems to be a Self Defense strategy. I don't know if previous is the fact. I'm only reasoning and doing some assumptions.
By other way, some of you has seen any time before some of this Negs materializing into physical form..?
How near from us is RTZ..?
What are the energy requirements needed in order to assure successfull materialization..?

Hi. I had a similar experience after a projection. when i woke up i saw a yellow spider in the ceiling crawling around, it jumped to the wall and started moving towards me, then it vanished. i saw this when i was fully awake. I guess it can be astral wildlife finding it's way to the RTZ, but it's freakin' weird.

I had a strange experience last night and wanted to know if anyone has any insight about it.
I was sleeping, having a normal dream, when I felt something near me.

This is a rather common feeling, and usually I see 'flying' things, looking like ugly birds or insects, while still in a sleeping/dreamy state but conscious of my surroundings and reality.
What I usually do is either fight them mentally (pushing them away with various thoughts) or, if I manage to and don't get paralysed, get up and punch them (in an astral sense. I never really got my physical body up, only my astral/projected/whatever body and hands). If none of this works, I simply force myself into a fully awake state and after around 5 seconds after opening my physical eyes and blinking a bit, it all goes away.
Last night it was different.

After doing the usual fighting and not having any results, I decided to wake up. So I did. I blinked and waited some seconds for this ugly-looking mix of bat-cum-fairy animal to disappear from my sight. But it didn't.
At this stage I thought some kind of stupid insect had got into my room so I got up, walked to the other side of the room and turned on the lights.
The thing moved (hovering, with slowly flapping wings, kind of like a big insect) to the corner of the room where my bed is. I walk torwards the bed and grab a pillow. It didn't seem to move from the corner, so I smashed it against the wall with it. I have the notion that I kind of felt the pillow hitting the bug, but it also hit the wall so I am not 100% sure.
It was only when I pulled the bed completely out of the way that I knew something weird was going on because I could not find the damn thing. I looked everywhere and it simply vanished. Now, if this was a mosquito, I wouldn't be worried, but this was only a bit smaller than a bat: there is no way you can miss it laying dead on the floor.
I stayed awake for the next half-hour, trying to figure out what happened. I checked both doors to my room, which were completely closed, so nothing that size could have physically come in to the room.
Only then was I somewhat sure that this must have been some kind of Astral wildlife, but wildlife 'existing' in the physical plane? That's new to me. It could have been my astral vision / clairvoyance / whatever (which I don't even have much) but why did it then disappear after hitting it?

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

I think you saw it with your astral vision, and the reasons why you didn't see it after the smash was probably because 1) you probably smashed it through the wall into the next room and 2) you were probably too much awake by then

I have had exactely the same experience many times after an OBE, with spiders, worms etc., even a face in front of me !
