Default Zsa Zsa Gabor goes home after leg amputation
Los Angeles (CNN) -- Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor left a Los Angeles hospital Saturday, a week after her right leg was amputated, her husband said.

Gabor, who turns 94 next month, healed quickly after the amputation at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, according to Prince Frederic Von Anhalt.

She returned to her Bel Air, California, mansion -- where she lives with Von Anhalt -- on Saturday afternoon.

The 28-room home, which has a commanding view of West Los Angeles, was put up for sale this week by Von Anhalt, who said he could no longer to maintain it and pay for Gabor's mounting medical bills. The mansion, which was once the home to rock legend Elvis Presley, is listed at $28 million.

In November, Gabor was hospitalized for a swollen leg, her husband said at the time. Paramedics initially suspected Gabor had a blood clot in her left leg, but an emergency room doctor at the southern California hospital later determined that she had an infection, according to Von Anhalt.

The large, deep lesion proved resistant to antibiotics, her surgeon said, prompting last week's amputation.

Gabor has been frail and "pretty much confined to a wheelchair" since a 2002 car accident, Von Anhalt has said. The crash happened when the car that the starlet was riding in with her hairdresser slammed into a light pole on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.

In addition, she had hip replacement surgery last year after she fell in her home.

The Hungarian-born actress, the second of the three celebrated Gabor sisters, is famous for her many marriages and strong personality as well as her acting prowess. Her husbands include Oscar-winning actor George Sanders.
