What the hell is that? I gotta fly in something called that? I did not sign on for strafing runs when I bought my ticket.

It's a puddle jumper, you've just gotta know that if the Philippine Airlines is ordering them by the half dozen, then they ought to be the safest thing in the air...

My favorite airline to this day is still Singapore Airlines, and not just because of the tightly clad hot chick stewardesses...

Bring a small carry-on, unless you want to check it at the gate...as the overheads are very small.

And whatever you do, try to get a seat away from the wings...as the turboprops are loud.

If I had $1 for every hour I've spent in one, I would go buy a new golf cart.

If you happen to get one of the seats directly next to one of the propellers, you will not get this simple fact out of your mind for the duration of the take off, the flight or the landing. If one of those blades let go, I am shredded meat.

Happy flying!

I use a duffle bag for luggage so I smushed it in. You should play golf in the redwoods sometime. It totally screws with your distances.

Well, I lived. It wasn't so bad. With the props requiring space from the fuselage, it was a bit bouncy. Cool airport in Sonoma. I don't think i'll ever fly into Oakland again to get to that area. It's 20 minutes from our river house and San Diego flies right there. Charles Schultz airport.

I looked at that as a feature. I die instantly, the rest of the poor souls get a long drop.

The cartoonist Charles Schultz? Snoopy, Linus, and Charlie Brown Charles Schultz?

That's cool in and of itself.

SFO isn't the greatest airport but it's sure a helluva lot better than Oakland...which has always reminded me of god damned Newark anyways - I equally avoid both as much as humanly possible.

Yes, he lived around there. Oakland is the better airport for Berkeley. That's my destination when I go to Oakland Airport.

I played Harding park on the same trip I played Pebble, although Harding was a bit rundown because they hadn't rehabbed it for the Ryder Cup yet.

I also played Half-Moon Bay on that same trip, when it was only 18 holes.

The bastards wouldn't let me on Olympic though! LOL

Ah, you got the Spyglass package deal I see. Yep, I keep getting promises to get hooked up for Olympic. Never seems to happen. I don't have enough juice.
