Got a sweet deal on a Mosin-Nagant M91 in primo condition, should be here via Fed Ex in about a week. Plans are either to clean it up a bit, then put a PU scope on it to keep it regulation for re enactments, or sporterized it for deer hunting. Decisions, decisions.....

Nice, I had a sweet Mosin-Nagant years ago, I lost it while moving, I think it was the movers but it was a great rifle. I am looking to get another one, very tried and true and inexpensive.

Cool. that would be a sweet rifle for reenactments, but whichever way you decide to go, it won't be too hard to convert back over, so that is one nice bonus. Once you decide though, I know I don't always care to fiddle with them much afterwards, so I know how it is.
