Independent Poster of the Year:
Bill: Bill always bring fresh ideas, from his own brain, as well as others, to be discussed on the board. It drives the sheep crazy when they can't engage Bill in a straight partisan talking point debate, but every Bill thread is a great read for those of us who enjoy a discussion of thought over the same right/left bullshit. Divisive Poster of Year: Moby: On a board where 90% of the posts are meant to be partisan and divisive, this should be a tough award to give. Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately) it's not even close. Moby brought the kind of divisive partisan hate rhetoric in 2011 that is usually reserved only for election years. With partisan labels and pronouns aplenty, Moby sought to keep the political divide alive and well on DCJ. Dumbest Poster of the Year: Hawkeye: Hawkeye is a nice guy, but he is dumb as a rock. Since he is a nice guy I won't elaborate too much here. Most Level Headed Poster: CosmicRocker: Cosmic rarely, or as rare as gets on this board, gets into the divisive speech that this board thrives on. He makes his comments, and if you disagree, he is usually OK with that. Not much for name calling or getting frustrated with someone who disagrees with him, Cosmic Rocker is one of the most mature posters on the board. Angriest Poster: Thai Kimchi:This one isn't an easy one to give out, a lot of people get ticked off here a lot. But Thai Kimchi is always kind of pissed, even in thread with people he agrees with he usually acting like a 3 year old who missed his nap. Call it passion, or call it just being a bitch, Thai wants you to know you won't like him when he's angry, which is always. Biggest Sheep: Minty: This one could easily go to Hawkeye, but he already won an award. Minty is a loyal sheep to the end, willing to follow the Republican party off a cliff even though their Big Government, Fiscally Irresponsible policies seem to clash with what Minty claims to beleive. When minty goes into the booth only one thing matters, the letter next to the candidate's name. Poster of the Year: Black As Coal: BAC has really stirred the pot here as being a liberal who isn't a Democrat sheep. Tired of Obama and the Dems playing Republican, BAC has riled up both sides of the aisle with well thought out points and a nonpartisan spirit. Something that is very rare in a board dominated with copy/paste blogs and talking points repeated ad nauseum. Congrats to the winners. |

will not pass up a chance to watch a spaghetti western.
I like them ALL / use Wiki there are more then I know about then these "Man with No Name" trilogy (or "Dollars Trilogy") directed by Sergio Leone, starring Clint Eastwood and with the musical scores of Ennio Morricone: A Fistful of Dollars (1964), For a Few Dollars More (1965), and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly There's another one Purple Riders? They're all fantastic, great acting ( OK. a bit too many head shots at the shoot outs), but always worth watching. |
