Of the Countries that have bridges among the 10 tallest bridges in the world, the US has 2 in the list. Number 10, the Verazzano Narrows Bridge in NY, and at Number 6, the Golden Gate in San Francisco, CA. The Golden Gate bridge was opened in 1933, and the Verazzano in 1964.
The next oldest bridges in the list were opened in 1998, and several were opened in the 2000 era decade, including at Number 1, the tallest bridge, the Milau Viaduct in France which opened in 2004.
