Only one and I am banned there until the year 2059....but they merged with another site and now I can post there if I desire...I just dont want to....

1 had an introduction thread. I told them that over half of them would hate me untill one of them just got smart and banned me, they told me that no one gets banned. Ever. 30 minutes later I got the perma ban.

The other was a sports forum with a politics section. What a stupid idea.

The other was a sports forum with a politics section. What a stupid idea.

I frequent a sports forum, they have a firm rule - no political discussion.

It's a good rule IMO. You don't want jock sniffers bantying politics. It's not pretty.

I just read it for a long time. A year or more. I didn't even notice that they had a place to talk about politics. When I did I joined, within a day I caught a perma ban.

They only like hearing from you if you think exactly like they do.

1...a conservative trucking forum...I was interested in the politics area and ended up being attacked around the 20th post...they followed me all over the board attacking me. I had never experienced anything like that before...they said they welcomed different opinions, even liberal as long as you were respectful and didn't attack anyone personally.

It ended up that I was banned and no one said a damned thing to my attackers...gee, like that's a shocker.

However...I happened to meet someone on that forum that had everything to do with my political forum experience from that time to this....life is full of surprises if you're open to it...:0)

I use to do lots of sports boards.........

Mostly NBA & some baseball...

I think I have only been banned on two............ One a religious board, a temp ban but I had no interest to go back & the other a sports board....... A Sacramento Kings board........

I was banned from UnfilteredNewsNetwork because I objected to having my signature censored.
I was suspended from DemocraticWarrior for the same reason (and never went back).

The signature they objected to?

"Hang tough"
Capt Dick Winters; Commander Easy Company; 506th, 101st Airborne; Bastogne, France, December 1944

Capt Winters was portrayed by Damien Lewis in the made for TV Series "Band of Brothers"
He actually uses the quote in the show, in one of the Episodes about Bastogne.
The saying was also used frequently by a neighbor of mine in South Philly when I was a child of 5 or 6.
My neighbor was "Wild Bill" Guarnere.
Wild Bill lost his leg at Bastogne while serving with Easy Company.
He is also portrayed in the TV show.
