I am not a viewer of The Celebrity Apprentice or fan of Republican Donald Trump. But, when I saw that Gary Busey, (Big Wednesday, The Buddy Holly Story) was going to be on, I TVO'd it. Busey was interesting as always.


This Richard Hatch from Survivor rudely physically pushed the smaller David Cassidy. Jose Canseco had worked with Cassidy on their project, and was about to let Hatch have it fist to cuffs!

I did not know much about Mr. Canseco, but his humanity and ability to handle stress was most impressive. In my opinion Donald Trump made a mistake by firing Cassidy instead of Hatch. This new season of Trump may be worth taking a look at. Besides I would like to see gold digger La Toya Jackson get fired. I have not seen Meatloaf since the Rocky Horror. And, rumors are Donald Trump may be posturing himself for a White House run. Looks like this season's apprentice could get the ego-maniac more attention! Here is video of the dramatic firing.

There's a great story about Jose Canseco I bet you didn't know.

When Jose was a young man, he went to his first ballgame. He spoke very little english and was looking for his seat when he asked this fat guy drinking beer where his seat was. The fat guy says "see that flagpole over there, it up on top", so Jose climbed up to the top of the pole.

When Jose's friends asked him how the people were at the ball game, he said "they were great, so friendly. Just before the game was about to start, everyone in the stadium stood up, looked at me and all said "Jose can you see?"

I rarely make posts like this, and as I said, I am not a fan of ego maniac Trump. When I saw the way the powerful Jose Canseco, (I do not mean just his brute strength as athelete, but his sensitivity and intelligence) stood up for David Cassidy I was moved and impressed.




The video does not show it, but Canseco was not about to let a larger bully push around a physically smaller Cassidy. Cassidy paid some tough dues like Canseco. Cassidy was exploited by his father, worked constantly, and his father lost most of his "teen idol" millions gambling. The intelligent Cassidy, (whose Wiki I just read) could certainly stand up for himself.


This evolving story on Trump is going to show Richard Hatch catch his lunch from Canseco as the rest of the players cheer him on. Gary Busey and Meatloaf looked like they were ready for a piece of Richard Hatch as well. This did not look totally like show busiiness staging to me. It seemed to just happen. Jose Canseco is one tough Cuban-American Citizen. Canseco seems like he would make a good friend with a lot of self-control.
