Why do conservatives hate America? First, these are not people who share things easily. Second, they are obsessed with greed. Third, they are self-centered and have no real compassion. Fourth, they are not educated enough to understand "one for all, and all for one." Fifth, they have deluded themselves into thinking they own the nation and the American flag. Sixth, liberals realize it is a waste of time to try and communicate with self-serving conservatives.

I don't see how any self-respecting person can be a conservative. Conservatism "certainly" don't mean what it used to mean. They are a shrinking party of mostly insecure, lower-middle class whites and the ultra wealthy. Both demographics are shrinking due to decreasing birth rates and the consolidation of business' AKA- monopolies.

I have observed that while we liberals have a good constituency at DCJ, most will not waste their time on conservative baiting. This thread will allow conservatives to see how we liberals basically ignore most of their blather. So, we give this a try.

Problem is this thread will die fast. Liberals basically will not waste their time name-calling like conservatives do. Liberals have the facts and the links to support our arguments. Liberals do not need name-calling. Name-calling is all conservatives have, but we can give them a taste of their own medicine. We are making our point.

.....I can even remember a time when President George W. Bush went before the Chicago Bid Committee and U.S. Olympic Committee to declare - wait for it - that "this country supports your bid, strongly." All of a sudden, people are cheering in their offices when the United States fails to achieve its goals?

I had been going to write "this situation put conservatives in the odd position of rooting against America," but the simple fact is, that isn't odd for conservatives at all. Today's conservative disdain for the United States is not an isolated incident. They have managed to "love" America so much that they've reset the whole scale, and now hate the country in a constant misguided quest to "love" it better than everybody else. They are like the husband who beats his wife because he "cares" about her, except they also don't want the wife voting or getting an education.

The constitution was a perfect document delivered to the founding fathers by Jesus himself

Fucking liberals had to go and fuck it up.

First with that goddamn 13th amendment. Taking away my right to own a slave and then to add insult to injury, they pushed the 15th and 19th amendments through. Women and Negroes with the right to vote?!?!? Thats when this country started going to pot.

The Jesus loving conservatives tried to fix things by passing the 18th amendment and those commie libs couldn't leave that alone. And then went and passed another amendment limiting presidents to two terms. Ronald Reagan was chosen by Jesus to be his stand in savior and would have been in office till the day he died if it weren't for those pinko fags.

And let's not forget that awful 24th amendment. Freedom isn't free and if you want to vote, you should have to pay for that right.

This is after all America.
