I heard about this from a friend, and wanted to share it with you.
It's a live streaming cam on an Eagle nest in Newport News, Virginia. I used to live in Norfolk and Virginia Beach for many years, so it's kinda my old stomping grounds.... It's SO cool. As I'm posting the Eagle is on the nest. Size is misleading. These birds stand about 3 feet tall and have a wingspan of 7-8 feet !!!! Are you sure it isnt just a big crow? Up here, the eagles wait in the trees while I'm fishing. Some are shy, but some will come down and grab a fish off the ice as soon as I lay it down. From afar, they don't look very large. Up close, these suckers have a 7 foot wingspan, and look huge! |

The Eagle cam was down for 2 days, due to high winds.
It's working again. http://www.wvec.com/marketplace/micr...eagle-cam.html |
