Seriously had the best dinner in years today.

We had pork chops yesterday and just grilled them on the BBQ. But today, being towards the end of the month and not wanting to go to the store we decided to cook the rest of the chops. But I wanted a shake and bake type chop tonight....but didn't have the brand name stuff. What I had was Italian bread crumbs. So I went on line and used this recipe;

And I didn't use a oven proof pan. I have one but just put them on a broiler for that step.

Holy mother of god........it was a religious experience. Real breaded chops prepared correctly. I'll never touch a box of shake and bake again.

I am having some steak quesadilla tonight.. (a lil red meat for a change.lol). I had some (home made) shrimp stir fry for lunch.........lol

Oh I used to from scratch a lot more years ago. I know how to bake bread crumbs and spice them up. I may do it one day with sourdough bread and fresh herbs.
