Thousands of mediums from all over the world have gathered in Brazil to participate in an annual religious ceremony.

The event is held every year in the Valley of the Dawn, an area in Brazil famous for its spiritualism.

Tourists are also flocking to the region to witness the colourful ritual.

It's rare to see such a large group of mediums gather. All convinced that their combined energy will please the gods, and with their hope that in return - said gods will acknowledge as a job well done.

I kinda reminds me of what is taking place on the local level here..

Not only in Nor Cal but the entire state & I guess the country.....

All of these local city, town festivals... Every hole in the wall has them now...

Fruits, flowers, you name it they have a festival for it...... Really just to generate money & I guess it give the locals an excuse to partake.

I think several local towns have "strawberry festivals"......... Not sure if they have grown strawberries there in the life time of any current resident......

Hopefully w/ them all there in one place they can find "a happy medium"....lol
