Just bought tickets for opening night (4/14) on StubHub. The prices WITH fees were better than on sfgiants.com.

Insanity.

Well, Cespedes signed with Oakland... I don't think anyone saw that one coming. The A's hadn't even been mentioned as a possible destination.

I only wear my on field cap from the day pitchers report for Spring Training until the end of the season, and then it gets put away. It's the only hat I wear during the season. Why you ask?

Fuck if I know, silly Baseball superstition. I believe in those.

Here you go PJ... your precious BoSox got your "long awaited" compensation for Epstein. Now you can shut up about it.

He has some upside as a hard throwing reliever... but completely lacks control. No big loss, he didn't crack our top 15 prospects if memory serves.

Default Major League Baseball 2012

A majority of our respective team's pitchers report to camp in less than two weeks.

Who is stoked? I can't wait for Baseball to start.

Red Sox look like the Dead Sox unless they do some major house cleaning. The (gulp) Yankees will still rule until the Sox and the rest of the East get a move on and start spending...

Our 40 man roster isn't looking so hot either.

It's not terrible, but the front office, doesn't know how to buy "big bats" and that kills me.

Eh. What?

I'm a Giants fan, PJ is a Red Sox fan, you're apparently an Orioles fan, and Porterjack is a Red Sox fan too.

So? Who is the Yankees fan?

yes, but lets hope the rest of the east goes through a youth movement and push the Spankees down to the cellar.
