I'm not too into watching pro sports ... typically the only sports I watch will be college football ... and even that is kind of a rarity.

I like having Sports on in the background sometimes. I also like watching baseball in particular. You can get a good sense of what's going on without really paying attention. Lots of people say "Oh watching Baseball is boring", but I think it's relaxing.

I can get into it if I have to, but I'd never flick through the channels and say 'oh great, I'll watch some football'.

It has limited novelty value, I can stand a few hours but then it starts to get boring

I can see why somebody wouldn't enjoy watching them, but I personally do. Not every sport, just football, tennis, snooker, boxing, wrestling.

I enjoy seeing NFL football on TV, even if the Patriots aren't in the game I'm watching.

However, I only enjoy watching MLB games that the Red Sox are in on TV. If it's two other teams going at it in a game, I'm usually not interested in it.

I hate televised baseball but I enjoy going to the games (especially minor league ones). But I prefer watching on the TV sometimes. I have trouble follow the ball/puck so it's nice being told where to look.

Default I don't really enjoy televised sports.
Okay I love playing sports, or doing anything active in real life. I also enjoy the occasional watching of a live sports game. But I have never enjoyed watching televised sports, no matter what the sport. I just find it quite boring and repetitive. I'm not trying to offend anyone who does like televised sports with this topic. I am not saying televised sports is dumb, just that I do not enjoy it. I'm wondering how many of you guys are with me on this. Does anyone else not really care for televised sports?

Even sports I thought I didn't like, such as Golf, I quite enjoyed the fleeting few glimpses I got of the Masters this year.

I won't watch Motorsport. But other things, I reckon I could sit down and watch.

So I am alone in not really liking televised sports =(. I just don't like watching people do things; I like doing them myself.
