If I owned an NFL team, I'd rather hire someone who either has never been a head coach in the NFL or an experienced coach who has a better success record than Wade Phillips. He's only had a limited amount of success as a head coach with Dallas, Buffalo, and Denver.

Wade has already had more than one chance to succeed at being a head coach. How about someone new having a chance?

Great coaches are always subject to picking and prodding from teams jealous of their teams efforts..so dont look at as a bad thing, unless money and getting fired is in his game plan, he'll probably stay

i understand this, however it will hurt the team just with the announcement alone.

kinda like UH when it was rumored that the head coach was in position for texas AM position......we lost to S Miss

head games

Of course, the lack of success Wade has had as a head coach isn't all his fault. Head coaches in the NFL get too much credit when things go well, and too much blame when the team is losing.
