Default Don't Forget, The Patriots Almost Moved To Hartford, CT
Before Bob Kraft became the owner of the New England Patriots back in the mid-90's, the Pats had only been to the Super Bowl once in which the Chicago Bears pummeled New England. But since then, the Patriots have won three Super Bowls, went 16-0 in '07, and went to the Super Bowl five times all-together since Kraft took ownership.

I'm grateful that he helped turn things around. Every Pats fan loves him.

However, Patriot fans conveniently forget that he came close to moving the team to Hartford, CT in 1998. Sure Connecticut is still technically in New England. But it's not exactly a short drive from Boston either. If Kraft had his way, the Pats would not be playing from Foxboro. But the deal fell through.

How people forget...

Bob Kraft was on the Alabama sideline for the Alabama/LSU game back in November. Still have no idea why.

They aren't very high on my list either. I pulled for them against the Rams back in like 01 but I pulled against them with the Eagles Panthers and Giants.

no...I do not forget this...and I have been grateful ever since he decided to keep the team here in Massachusetts! he just wanted to be allowed to keep the team here, he never wanted to leave Foxboro at all....I know the story all too well...politics as usual...state government didn't want to give him the infrastructure he wanted, but he ponied up his cash and the rest is history, plus their might be a casino near that area...we shall see...

The old Foxboro Stadium was decent, even towards the end of it's existence. However, the parking lot wasn't even paved.

My dad complained about this to me more than once. But my response was "Who cares!" I was just grateful the Boston area still had a football team (especially back in the 90's, as all you heard about back then was about teams moving).
