I watched Match Of The Day and I have to agree the ref had a shocker, but what GOOD ref would call time when another team is on the attack like that? I'm pretty sure Collina would of let it go and when all threats from the attack had gone, he would of called time.

Meh they didn't score anyway, and they didn't hear the whistle, they played on normally. Non-issue.

Manchester United 0-0 Rangers.

A very frustrating result tonight. The team selection raised eyebrows with an all new back 5 from Saturday (in fact only Darren Fletcher kept his place) and it may have cost us. Antonio Valencia went off in the second half with what looks like a broken leg/ankle.

Man Of The Match : I actually don't know, nobody looked that good.

Good result for Rangers, especially considering that last time the two met, Man utd exposed the massive difference in class between the best in Scotland and the best in England. Shame I couldn't watch the match.

Yeah the difference in class was definitely evident despite the result, they were never going to score, but they came with a gameplan and to be fair it worked for them. I still think we'll qualify, it's just a little bit more difficult.

Manchester United 3-2 Liverpool

And thank fuck it was, as we gave away a lead again. Bossed the first half and Dimitar Berbatov headed us into a deserved lead just before the break. He was at it again in the second with a magnificent overhead kick before the game turned. First Evans tripped Torres in the area and Gerrard tucked away the penalty, and O'Shea managed to escape a red card after pulling down Torres but Gerrard was on hand again to tuck the free kick away. Berbatov then completed his hat trick and we won, deservedly so. But the concern about giving away leads is still there. Luckily we got away with it today. Always good to beat the mickies though, in whatever circumstances.

uniteds latest run of results are an indication of gradual decline, the team of 5 years ago would have buried everton, and rangers could have put the team coach across the goal line, united still would have found a way through.....and today they struggled to beat a very poor liverpool side which united of old would have embarrassed

Scunthorpe 2-5 Manchester United

A strange game in that Scunthorpe had a lot more chances but only scored two goals, whereas we had less and scored 5. But such is football. Kuszack in goal saved us a lot in the early stages but could do nothing to stop Wright's rasping drive. However after the pressure was withstood in the main Darron Gibson deliciously chipped the Scunthorpe goalkeeper to level matters and Chris Smalling's first goal for us gave us the lead going into half time. After it we ran away with it, first Michael Owen was put clean through and slotted home before Ji Sung Park put the game beyond all dout with a powerful drive from inside the area. Owen tapped in to make it 5-1 and right at the end a consolation for Scunthorpe from Manchester United fan Woolford. Had Kuszack not been in such great form this scoreline might well have been different, as it was, more clinical finishing and shot stopping see us through to the next round of the Carling Cup

Man Of The Match : Tomasz Kuszack.

Bolton 2-2 Manchester United

Not that good a result, in terms of failing to capitalize on mistakes from Chelsea and Arsenal yesterday. And it's frustrating to give away another 2 points away from home, although considering how bad we were defensively today, it could have been a lot worse. Caught out from a corner after five minutes when Zat Knight headed in, the gaps were there to see. However Nani's superb solo effort equalised. After a good second half we didn't score but they did with Petrov's deflected effort , and Owen rescued a point with 12 minutes to go. It's a game that with better quality of finishing we would have won, but as it is a draw is the result.

Man Of The Match : Nani

Valencia 0-1 Manchester United

The most important thing from this game was not to lose, and that was achieved very successfully. A win is a great result (our first win in Spain since beating Deportive in April 2002) and the performance was typical away European, broke when we needed to, kept them at bay well enough with the odd scary moment. Berbatov played well tonight on his own up front, the goal came late on when Macheda passed to Hernandez who took it away from the defender and smashed it into the bottom corner. From then on we closed the game out well and won our first Champions League game of the season.

Man Of The Match : Rio Ferdinand.

Sunderland 0-0 Manchester United

A game of contrasting performances. The first half was awful performance wise, and thye really should have been in front at the break. The second half however was much better and with better finishing we might have won it, however that would have been a disservice to Sunderland, who fully deserved their point, and maybe more.

Man Of The Match : The whole defence.

Got to be a bit concerned with Man Utd right now, the're drawing too many games for a team challenging for the Premiership title and it may cost them dear later on in the season.

It does away from home certainly, that coupled with the form of Chelsea. Some people say we're unbeaten which we are....but I'd rather be 5 points clear with 6 wins and a defeat thanks.

In truth looking at the draws.

Fulham away, I can accept that, shit happens like that sometimes in football. Everton away cannot be accepted. There is no excuse for a team to be 3-1 after 90 minutes and after 94 be drawing the game 3-3, that was shocking. Bolton away was poor mainly but at least we got something, saturday we didn't deserve anything, so a draw wasn't that bad. But it is still 8 points dropped, that's nearly the equivalent of 3 defeats. That's the worst part.

Manchester United 2-2 West Brom

Had this game ended at half time it would have been great, it was a cruise, Nani's free kick was spilt by Carson in the 5th minute allowing Hernandez to tap in, and Nani added a second before half time.

But then the trouble started.

Firstly a cheap free kick was given away by Anderson and it was clipped in fast and.....I think the last touch came off Evra, anyway it went in. Then a simple cross came in and Van Der Sar messed up catching. And it was 2-2.

Credit to West Brom, but the fact we gave away a two goal lead is unacceptable.

Man Of The Match : Hernandez

Villa did us a favour with the draw against Chelsea just then. I suppose I should be grateful but also it's frustrating because we should have won.
