I hate Farve. He needs to retire his ass for good! I find this amusing...

Favre’s fine will help fund a new training program on workplace conduct around the league, though for the multimillionaire QB the penalty is a pittance. Even while sitting out of Tuesday’s game at Philadelphia because of post-concussion symptoms, Favre essentially earned $50,000 over about five minutes of action.
According to NFLPA data, Favre’s base salary for this season is $11.6 million. Like this fine is really going to hurt him. At least the money's going to a good cause.

I know the money is piddle but realistically speaking its a start. And your right that its going for a cause..

Yet I have to wonder, like Porter said, if the league will not get this sweeped under the rug..

I think these guys ( superstars ) need some reality checks to bring them back to Earth and make them human again..

Too many are kids hero's that just need to be shown for what they really are..

I don't think hitting them in the pockets is going to do it. Suspend them for a certain amount of games along with a hefty fine and that might change things.

Should've been a bigger fine and other penalties (even though it should be his last year). He basically thumbed his nose at the league office. If Roethlisberger gets a suspension for supposedly raping a girl without any forensic evidence proving it, Favre should have the same thing, plus a fine. I don't even like Roethlisberger, but to hold him to a higher standard than Favre is ridiculous. This just further proves how big a fucking joke Goodell is as commissioner.
