I mentioned abt english soccer hooligans here abt a year ago and you guys were in denial mode.
English Hooligans Banned From Traveling To World Cup In South Africa
British government confirms traveling restrictions.

That's a good thing.

My Brother's probably on that list.

The Police send him a letter every time United play away warning him he will be arrested if he is caught within 200 yards of the ground. Oh no he's not a hooligan, but he likes, or liked, to sneak in.

Unfortunately, Springers opinion of his country at football is very popular amongst supporters of the "big four" teams (Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal & Chelsea........though not so much in my experience with Chelsea fans)
I'd agree to some extent. I sort of understand why, but not quite. There's nothing that comes close to international football. The world cup is 4 billion times bigger than the Champions league.

I can't wait for the World Cup this summer

The Club always get the say because they are Wayne Rooney's employers. So no, Manchester United have no obligation whatsoever to rest Wayne Rooney.

As far as England go, I couldn't give a shit about them. I'm a Manchester United fan and really the coverage has been shocking with regard to his injury.

'England WC Bid dealt a blow with the news Rooney could be out'

WE ARE HIS FUCKING CLUB, THE TEAM HE PLAYS FOR AT THE MOMENT, IT SHOULD BE

'Manchester United Title Bid dealt a blow with the news Rooney will be out for 4 weeks'

As I said, I don't like England, they underachieve so much and when people come out from under their rocks every four years and support them and then blame someone else for the fact England are bottlers just makes me sick. England won't win the WC anyway, with or without Rooney.
never helps when your best player is finishing the season with an injury

Yes but.....England should have more to cope with that. I mean Rooney won't play on Sunday, but he will be back for the Man City game the following Saturday, and then he'll carry on playing because he's fit then. But as I keep saying, we are his employers, and he is contracted to play for us. He plays for England because he is called up to represent, as are the other players. I just think there's a massive overeliance on one player and the whole expectations are on him to deliver in the WC, but it doesn't have to be that way....I mean Steven Gerrard is a very good player, so why can't he be loaded with the nation's expectations? Or why can't Peter Crouch carry them?

I mean if Rooney got injured and didn't go to the WC, and England went out in the second round, people would be blaming Rooney for being injured, which would be totally unfair because A) He was injured, and B) That would be glossing ove the fact that England just weren't good enough. Like they weren't in....Oh I don't know, every other tournament since 1966.

No, our fans don't burn effigies of England players just because they get sent off in tournaments
No, you all just start waving around Norwich City scarves when you don't like someone.

No-one, because we don't have that kind of player.

But let's not get away from the main point here England do rely heavily on him which is the main reason everyone shits themselves whenever Fergie has the audacity to pick him to play for us.

Whatever team Rooney will play for, they will rely on him a lot. That is because he is so good. Man United rely on him even more than England do now. Their attack is a knats fart without him this season.
