Default NCAA National Championship
I'm a Texas Longhorn fan. Was born that way and will die the same.

Alabama looked fricking unstoppable against The Gators.
Texas was lucky as fuck to even have the chance to let their skinny, half a fag, kicker the opportunity to win the game.
Kudos to Hunter Thompson, I hope he got cheerleader snatch that night.

So both teams have a month to prepare for the Janurary 7th title game.

I love the Tide. My grandparents were from Mobile. RIP Grandtootie and Grandbubby.
I would have preferred to play Florida but alas the cards have fallen differently.

Maybe I'm just delusional but I think Texas has yet to play their best game of the season.
If everything comes together I think the Horns can defeat Alabama.
Hook 'em Horns!!!!

Thoughts?

So you're saying the Horns don't stand a fricking chance?
What? You say Colt McCoy is an inferior QB? How dare you.
I don't know where the hell you get off saying shit like that without anything to back up your comments.
To suggest that Texas has absolutely no chance to defeat the Crimson Tide with out any stats or inside information to back up your erroneous statement is ridiculous.
How dare you come on here and ramble on about the lackluster play of the Texas Longhorns in the Big 12 title game.
You act is if Alabama is the second coming of Christ! Even he would back down against the likes of Lamar Houston and Earl Thomas.
I hope you're man enough to take your vicious words if and when Texas wins the National Championship.
You sure talk a lot of smack for a dude from the 'Fountain City' with a relative humidity of 88%.

McCoy should have used his feet more on Saturday.

I had no idea he had such speed til he made that long touchdown run a year before.

Alabama I don't think has anybody to compare to Suk.

I sure as hell hope Satan ... I mean... Saban the asshat loses that game against Texas. I hate that bastard

Sorry Fred, I guess I read too much into your 'Good luck' comment.

DonkeyKong Suh is a badass, thank the Lord (as you percieve him to be) that he doesn't play for Alabama.
I'm really surprised the Tide rolled over Florida the way they did.
BTW, I like Tim Tebow, his girlfriend is on fire and has big cans.
I realize that's a crappy way to judge a man but, whatever....
His(Tebow) warpaint said John 16:33 - Here's the scripture......
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
I hope Tim found peace in that defeat.
Actually I admire anyone that stands up for their beliefs but in retrospect maybe his facepaint should have read..
2nd Kings 8:11 - Then the man of God began to weep.

Alabama is tough. As much as I really do like that Texas team, I just don't see them lasting. Alabama is too tough, too good all around. I think most years the SEC gets a little too much credit, but they are tough to beat in out of conference games, especially bowl games, no question about it. And this Alabama team is tough. Have I mentioned that they're tough. Just sayin.

21-10 Bama. Sorry.

If Colt would not have gotten hurt Texas would have crushed the Tide but that's part of the game.
3 minutes to go Texas trailed by 3 with the ball and an eighteen year old quarterback.
Once he was sacked and fumbled the ball the game was over.
The Alabama points after that were all moot points.
Texas loses 24-21, the Tide should be ashamed.
Anybody with half a brain that watched that game realized that the Texas Longhorns were the best TEAM in college football.
Congrats to Alabama, they beat the best team, albeit a crippled one, and they deserve the number one spot.
A hollow victory for sure and no Crimson Tide fans were talikng shit the next day.
They knew, they knew they got by with one.

It sucks that he got hurt but luckily they said today he won't need surgery. And his proposal was cool.

However

Things are always a little crazy at the beginning of a bowl game. Nerves are at an all-time high, and you've had a month off so the timing on your offense usually sucks at first. It usually takes a series or two for players to settle in and start playing like they should. Colt was 2 of 2 for 9 yards and a rush for no gain when he got put out of the game. We can speculate all we want but if he had stayed in they might have still lost. We will never know.

I see no reason we should be ashamed of anything. Our Defense knocked people out of games all season. Running your QB against us on the first series was about as dumb as the timeout and shuffle pass instead of letting the first half end.

At one point yes....and we were up 24-6 later. It was 0-0 when McCoy went out, it was UT's 5th offensive snap.

I agree that Colt staying in it would have made it a different game, I just don't concede a different outcome. And I certainly don't buy what Mack said about how "It wouldn't even have been close". Too early in the game to make comments like that.

the whole tone of the game change with McCoy out.

Bama was throwing everything at the freshman. With McCoy if that happens he can do things with his feet also. I don't see the same momentum with McCoy playing.

I think TX has themselves a new QB though. Big props to that kid for not being overwhelmed and making a comeback

The Texas Longhorn defense is built to stop the run.

The more I think about it the less I worry.
I do like the Crimson Tide but on Thursday, January 7th the Texas Longhorns will hand Alabama thier first defeat of the season and the Horns will win another NC.
I'm sure Colt McCoy will give all the credit to God but my money's on Muschamp and the Texas defense.

Win or lose, don't expect to see Saban cry. I hope it's a great game and my Tide team comes out with a win and their first BCS title.

This thread is about to be locked due to blatant disrespect for certain people's religion.

If tebow is god then Colt McCoy is God.

Nope, pretty sure a Heisman is a requirement for being either god or God.
