Well here it is another season starting....will the Penguins repeat? Will Detroit get back to the fray? What about my beloved Bruins, will they get their due?
I can't wait for the puck to drop later on tonight!!!!

Dunno what the outcome will be but I'll be at the Igloo watching 'em raise the banner! Got my piccie in front of Lord Stanley and the Lombardi trophy this morning...my boss will send it to me later...but it's a crap picture...just warning you in advance.

I foresee Anie spending a LOT of time in this thread.

Personally... I've never been able to get into the sport.

If it's on, I'll watch it but I'm not a huge fan.

It's exciting and all, but I can't follow the puck well enough.

I hate that I am missing a Canucks and Flames game, they both play sooo passionately towards each other and it's always always entertainment on the ice. They both loathe each other because of past playoff series, if the Flames and Canucks meet in any round in the playoffs, the winner of that round goes to the SCF... lol....

The Oilers meet the Flames on the 3rd of October, so I can't wait.

The puck isn't exactly tricky to see you know :/

As soon as you watch it on a consistent basis for about a year then you'll know the trick to it, follow the action of the players. They always keep their heads watching the puck...

Really Hartnell?? Really? You're team is getting beaten by the Penguins...AGAIN...so you resort to biting with 1.2 seconds left in the game!?

Fabulous! You know I sat there thinking that Philly actually has a decent team but sadly they always succumb to their thuggery...hench, they will continue to be be beaten when it counts.

...and the fans! Oh I love it...I lap it up with glee! Flyers fans aren't hockey fans...they are simply Flyers fans. They don't know the game (love it when they draw a penalty and are too derp to realize it so they start booing the refs thinking it's against them...when it's for them) and really only cheer when someone gets hit or starts a fight.

aaaaaaaand that's why you got beat.
