I believe the bcs is a crock of shit but I don't think utah is #1 team in the nation...that title as much as it pains me to say it because I hate the gators belongs to the gators even with the 1 loss this year...don't get me wrong utah is a close second...the only reason why though is because they struggled against mediocre teams this year barely slipping by...I do think that utah should go to a bcs confrence so they can be taken more seriously

ps usc can go eat a dick

any given day the top 6 teams could beat each other

FL deserves to be first just because of the system but not sure they are the best

I certainly don't want to take anything away from a VERY good Gator squad, that's for sure, and from the Credit-Where-Credit-is-Due department, they're good

but not sure they are the best Agreed, so the only way to make the argument a little less flimsy sans playoff for the best team in the land is to give the title to the one that nobody beat. I repeat, the one that NOBODY beat.

EVERYBODY has cupcakes on their schedule. You're supposed to beat them. They did, and everyone else, too: TCU (7th), Bama (6th), BYU (25th 10 wins), Oregon State (18th and beat USC).

Those are quality opponents

NO DOUBT that Florida played a tougher schedule - it cannot be argued. But they had one common opponent: Alabama. Florida beat em 31-20, trailing until 9:22 left in the game. Utah beat em 31-17 and never trailed.

Ok, so the bcs sucks. What would be a better way to do it? Some kind playoffs or what?

Conference is weaker.

Less filling
Tastes great

I have no problem with Tebow, I have a ton of respect for him as a player. What overcooks my grits is how everyone (especially the Fox announcers during the title game) are completely up his ass.

If not a playoff then at least a plus 1 game. Have the last bowl on New Years Days then the real title game (this year Florida vs Utah) a week after that.

He's shown great promise...But he needs to finish school...Just my opinion.

BTW...Vince Young ruled the world....For a spell at least. Tebow needs to finish college...Then he can enter the draft

I disagree. I expect Alabama and Florida to play again next December in Atlanta so he needs to go pro.

Bama should be a stud team as they played a lot of first year players this year

FL could be there if Harvin comes back and is healthy

Then ya got USC if Sanchez comes back

Plus one this year would have been better than nothing but still you have 3 teams that have a right to that game in Utah, Texas and USC

OSU might be in the picture too with Pryor if he improves as one would anticipate. That kid with any kind of an offensive line and if Beanie Wells comes back and is healthy will be something to reckon with. Not saying they would win the title but they could well be in that game.
