theres so many factors that effected those results lol

look who was on his line for his entire career.... like this year lol, players like Bure had better players playing with him :P

you cant compare a player with points really, it always depends whose he playing with :P, like Crosby for instant, i doubt if lined with Fedotenko and taffee.... he would still record as many points as he did before

if you compare any teams now... the pens or even the caps, they do have star players, but they got talent all way around there team, the leafs dont.... there goaltending is weak, defense is weak and only have 2-3 good forwards.... the shots of a team a low amount of talent or skill would have a lot lower chance of even making the stanley cup finals compared to a team who has high talent....
Who did Bure play with exactly? :P

Points do make a difference when you make it to the HHOF, they're milestones and reaching those milestones is what hockey players do besides strive for the Stanley Cup, it's their career, their livelyhood and their paycheck.

Crosby didn't play alongside a couple of talented teammates, he has different vision on the ice and knows how to get the puck past the net with or without talented people playing beside him.

Sundin is a great franchise player but only was "good" in his entire career, if he won the Stanley Cup or contributed more in the playoffs, then yeah I'll support him being inducted

btw how can you stand watching the Devils their defensive trap style is boring

i gotta be honest... i should have picked a diff player, cuz i knew the min i said it, i was hoping i tricked you

Crosby is playing with alongside malkin now, an all star

but i get what you mean, he really isn't a big scorer, more like a big forward, an impact type of player ya know

Tricked me how?

Malkin never played alongiside Crosby, he was on a different line and don't get me started on that since if you're a hockey fan then you'd know about Crosby's injury, after that Malkin stepped up and became a superstar. Get your facts straight.

I don't like Sundin but if he was in the HHOF it better be 40 years from now

I've played field hockey for nearly 12 years and I absolutley love it, Ice hockey ain't so big in the UK as in the US, but I've seen a couple of games and enjoy watching it a lot too.

I enjoy the Colorado Avalanche when I could, and the UHL team here in town if I ever went.

It's more popular in Canada than the USA, wished it was more popular out there though but meh, Bettman sucks. Field hockey is fun during the summer, wished I knew how to skate more better so I can play at the rink. I love playing with my little cousin outside when he was young, he had a very good shot for a four year old. What did you watch, the NHL or Olympics?

I used to be a huge fan of the Avs when I was very young, I still love Sakic in that team and glad he signed one more year for his 20th season in the league. They're a good team, just going through a rough patch right now, hopfully it doesn't last long.

OMG love NHL!!!! Leafs for ever :P
Loser!

Habs forever!

But seriously: the only hockey I enjoy anymore is women's hockey. With no contact rules they spend their energy actually skating and playing! Love it.

I think it's more because of women holding big sticks

Oh dear god in heaven I love hockey!! I'm a Penguins fan, but pretty much can watch any game any time, anywhere and enjoy it.

Oh and the Malkin/Crosby thing playing on the same line. Usually Therrien would do that occasionally on power plays or when he'd get panicky and feel as though he had to scramble the lines up throughout the game. So there were times when Malkin and Cros played on the same line...personally, I wasn't a fan of that because they each should be carrying their own lines...It's going to be interesting to see how this season plays out now that we lost some key players like Hossa and our hometown boy Malone is gone. I liked Malone, but his downfall to me was he only really seemed to show up during a contract year...but when he showed up...good stuff.

So who else in this forum enjoys Hockey? I happen to be a huge fan of the NHL, I keep tabs with everything in it, the NHL, WHL, AHL, or the Olympics. It's something I'm very passionate about.
For real dawg?

I live for hockey, you like OHL?

Yeah I love hockey, my fav team is the Oilers. I haven't followed too much in the OHL but I do know that our team drafted a couple players from there like Gagner and Schremp. Also a lot of very good hockey players started from there as well. Good luck on that hunt to the NHL! Just don't pull a Stefan Legien once you get there. :P
