Great idea.. NFL does this, but with only two team in one game per season.

Gives everyone a chance to experience watching the best of the best in football.

this pisses me off ian..the average footy fan cant afford to see their team play every week as it is,i think pete mentioned that about west ham.
id love to take my dad now in his seventies to see stoke or vale ,but cant afford the cost,,so now you need to buy your air fair too.

i heard that even china was mentioned as a possible venue, this is more fuck yous to the fans and bring in international money for the clubs.

the fans dont lose a game deb.......the clubs play an extra game

the only problem i can see is if say......wigan and blackburn for instance are fighting relegation......and wigans extra game is man utd and blackburns is birmingham......would be a bit unfair

i know ,i think the fans lose out because of the cost ian,and as you say what happenss if league games clash or the fa cup..unless they do it at the end of the season.

lets face it theyre not going to be able to do it in europe because of our track record with violence,i do think itll attract the hooligans (well the ones that arent banned from travelling abroad to see a match)

i can see you going off to exotic climes to see coventry

I think that it's a good idea in theory, but in practise it might be a little difficult. For a start not all of the clubs are going to agree, they never do. The clubs don't need any extra games. Also, as a sport and as a league it does not really need the extra publicity or exposure...

This I suppose is what happens when everyone get a foreign chairman

Load of old bollocks! Players and managers have been constantly moaning about there being too many games ect and now all of a sudden the're in favour of this! Just another excuse for the fat cats in football to line their pockets even more!
