The problem with soccer and America is that we don't dominate it. Therefore doesn't get the pub the major sports here does, I mean, pro wrestling gets more attention than soccer in the states.

Also it's so low scoring. The game itself is fine, but I've tried watching it on television and it's just not exciting enough to keep my interest. This is another reason American's don't like soccer. Low scoring = boring.

If they decreased the size of the field by a third, it'd definitely help the flow of the game I think. And a shot clock (basketball) to get these guys to start kicking towards the goal instead of backwards half the time.

Maybe I just don't get it, meh.

I've played soccer all my life. I've played a little college ball also. Its a great sport to play and takes some toughness and lots of endurance. It makes me laugh when dumbasses talk it down who have ever played it. Talk to someone who's played both soccer and american football, then ask them if soccer is a wimps sport.

And its hard to advertise during a soccer game. No commercial breaks except for at half time. So TV networks dont want to host it.

very true. soccer is a bad ass sport. takes a lot of skills. your constantly on the move so it does take alot of endurance to play it. soccer's the pretty much the only sport i can watch for the whole game. to me soccer is never boring.
