As long as he had enough sense not to come to New York its cool. Should they skip the NBA playoffs next year and ship the trophy to South Beach?

Venus and Serena bought an interest in the wrong Miami team.... Someone in the camp (I'm content to blame the Young Chippie) didn't call Miss Cleo.

Present company excluded, I think all the hoopla illustrates how ridiculous we behave when it comes to celebrities and sports stars.

We have people dying every day because they don't have health insurance.

We have veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan who are suffering in silence.

But THIS is what seems to have captured national consciousness.

I understand that we all need to escape from time to time, but seriously... It's really quite absurd.
