Default Doctor to pro athletes implicated in HGH scandal
Tiger Woods Doctor Probed for Performance Drugs

WASHINGTON -- A Canadian doctor who has treated golfer Tiger Woods and many other pro athletes is under a joint U.S.-Canadian investigation for possibly providing performance-enhancing drugs, according to a U.S. official familiar with the probe.

The official said Canadian authorities have been investigating Anthony Galea, who was arrested Oct. 15 in Toronto, and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation has been brought into the case.

The official said Tuesday the investigation was being conducted by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

The New York Times earlier reported on the investigation. Speaking to the newspaper, Dr. Galea denied wrongdoing.

Here's the original NY Times article...names a few NL players.

The doctor, per the NY Times has also treated a number of "well known professional tennis players"
