Default NCAA Volleyball
It is being overshadowed by college football, but the Final four is playing tonight.

(1)Penn State vs. (4)Nebraska
(2)Stanford vs. (3)Texas

Many are calling Penn State as the best volleyball team in NCAA history, never losing a single set during the regular season. This Stanford Senior Class has been the runner-up for the past two years, and if they do not win it will be the first time a class would not have captured a title.

If I am a betting man I'm betting on a Penn State Stanford rematch with Penn State winning in 5.

I love college volleyball. I will love it even more if Stanford goes another year without a title.

And NO sets lost in an entire year (so far)? That's a positively Navratilova in '83 record.

Are any of the matches televised?

I checked. Semis are on ESPN2 tonight. 6 - 8:30pm PT. So 9pm for the East Coast.

It ought to be. Volleyball is a great sport and college level is pretty good. Too bad it's on TV here so rarely...

The TV Guide lied. Texas and Stanford just ended. Stanford came back form 0-2 down to win in three sets. The other SF is going to start in around half an hour.

I think that Akinradewo(of however you spell her name, even ESPN can't get it right they spelled it differently each time it appeared) and Barbosa should at least get one title. Watching both games, I can't believe how Stanford turned it on the last three sets.

If PSU plays like they did in the 4th set of teh nebraska match against Stanford, they will lose that title. It sometimes looked as if Glass (PSU's setter) just had too many options.
