Yeah, just watched the race, and the guy is doing some amazing things in his first season. Sure, McLaren have the best car, but you still have to get round the track without error, and he did that very well. The way he stopped Alonso from passing him was *nice*

F1 can't compete with Nascar here, but Hamilton won the British GP at Siverstone on Sunday. He's now tied with the Ferrari boys for the lead in championship points.
![]() Oh, F1 boss Max Mosley is still fit to be tied about the "Nazi theme" allegations leveled at his romp with 5 escorts dressed as prison guards. "Mr Mosley said it was a German prison scenario, with suitable uniforms, but there was no Nazi aspect." I suppose we don't need to be reminded who his parents were, but I will: Sir Oswald Mosley and Lady Diana Mosley - he, the founder of the British Union of Fascists and she, one of the Mitford sisters gone rancid. Mom and Dad ![]() |

Two in a row again for Hamilton as he takes the German Grand Prix title. An accident involving Timo Glock meant the field was stuck behind the safety car for some time and the Ferrari's cam in for a pitstop while Hamilton stayed out. It could have cost him the race, but he a fantastic job in catching up to Massa again, then overtaking him and Piquet in the final couple of laps. It takes Hamilton into a four point lead in the world championship standing.
