Also for the record, I took the term from the title of the article - not personal opinion. It is racially insensitive, and politically incorrect - but I wouldn't necessarily say it makes her a racist.

I sort of feel like I'm missing something. She's talking about mosquitoes chomping on people from a place where there are a lot of mosquitoes. How is that related to race at all?

It is an incredibly stupid thing to say because one should realize there will be backlash about it like this. But it isn't like she said something that was even stereotypical, let alone racist. At least in my opinion. But maybe I'm missing something.

She was talking about the number of African immigrants in Greece I think.
