Could be some of that. I'd guess it has to do with women, though.

Losing to the Koreans and Ohno? How is that a choke?

There's two of them there, they should have at least gotten a bronze.

Marianne St. Gelais again. At least we get to see her when Hamelin races.

The other three are just too good. I disagree that it is a choke.

Wow, that news about the hockey game really screwed up my day. Now I will have to watch the game in SD, thanks for that NBC. You suck, even if the żżżżż and women will watch figure skating, you couldn't put the game on Universal HD? NBC holds the NHL contract, you would think they would try to push their own sport a little harder than this.

Yeah. No reason not to put it on USA.

There were two Canadian brothers in the finals, Ohno, and two Koreans. They have gotten at least a bronze between the both of them. But they couldn't hold the lead with 1 or 2 laps remaining and lost it all. They finished fourth and fifth.

Pirates of the Caribbean will be on, that is clearly more important for USA than watching the team representing your country.

I agree with Schmuck. The Canadian was the world champion so the other 3 are not clearly any better than him. There is no reason he should be not getting a medal when Ohno slips as badly as he did.

He was picked to get third, but no one realized that second Korean was going to be so strong. The guy expected to get third slipping to fourth isn't what I'd call a choke. We can agree to disagree, though.

Short track speed skating is a crap shoot. It's the all star wrestling of the winter olympics.

It was a great shot to get the two to put Canada in the lead. Would have been even better if he got the three.

But I'm out for the night.
