Disappointing first run for the Canadian, but this is the Shaun White show.
Right on time.

Do you not feel the least bit bad not cheering for a Canadian?

LOL

Disappointing? Hell, he finished, didnt he?

Its a "W" that he isnt splayed out on the bottom of the half pipe. For any of them...

Lefty, it's on TSN.

I still cheer for him, but not near as much as I do for Shaun White. Plus, I think we all know the Canadian isn't going to medal.

Canada with a silver in ladies short track 500m.

Too bad they couldn't have gotten one more since they had two girls in the finals.

That half pipe goes up like 22 feet. He gets another 22-23 feet up in the air when he goes straight up at the top of his run. At least, that's what he did in the X Games a couple of weeks ago.

I hope he throws his trick in his second run, probably won't have to, but I hope he does.

I can't imagine him working on it for so long and keeping it in the bag and not throwing it.

The Flyin' Tomato is on fire. Hopefully he can have a fun run and bust out that double McTwist.

Not really a fan of any event that requires judging to decide a winner, but these scores sure seem a hell of a lot more in line with the performances, opposed to the figure skating, which apparently looks like the scores were decided prior to actually watching any performances.

Snowboarding is WAY better than figure skating. Like the judges actually know what's going on.

Shaun White makes me want to pick up a skateboard, but then I remember that I have no charisma.

If White hadn't slipped up some on that 2nd to last jump he probably wouldn't have kept the double mctwist in the bag.

I expect to see it in his 2nd run even though he will probably already have the win locked up.

I was thinking that too about the slip.

I'm thinking we'll see more falls in the next run as these guys push their limits.
