I've been skiing at whistler twice in march and never seen rain. They just got unlucky this year. Besides, everyone is on the same course so no advantage for anyone. Smug, you've been to Banff and Lake Louise too, right? I've been there, but not Whistler. Just wondering how your experiences compared with the two areas. |

The luge course was designed by a German guy (not to place blame), but don't tell Hof that. I think I said it in my thread way back about Banff, the rockies there seem bigger and more majestic than Colorado/Utah/Wyoming |

Both places are great. Banff is a bit more isolated, Whistler has more of a downtown area for when you arent on the slopes. The snow and terrain at both are off the charts. In my opinion Whistler is probably a tad more commercial/crowded. |

Looks like the national media is running with this now to.
A glitch for every gold at the Vancouver Games http://apnews.myway.com/article/20100217/D9DTLTQ00.html Woe, Canada! Olympic problems and missteps pile up http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/htm...olywoes17.html London 2012 can't be worse than the Vancouver Games this winter http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/spo...cle7028403.ece Buses breaking down and getting lost for hours, baracades collapsing are just the newest issues. |

Not that this has anything to do with Canada, but you gotta love NBC's gaffe where they showed Michael J. Fox's pic instead of Terry Fox's.
