They showed that quite a while ago.

Yeah, I know. I just meant I hadn't even heard his name mentioned in the games until now.

I wonder what happened to Watanabe in the second round of snowboard cross. He was second in qualifying but got third. SI predicted him to get the bronze medal behind Holland and a guy from France.
I saw him in his first qualifying run, but then when they went back they said that he had been eliminated. More sad coverage of an event not named figure skating from NBC.

Yep. They should have at least showed the runs where the Americans competed.

Synchronized fall. That has to be worth a lot.

So the best score of the night came from a group who 1) guy screwed up the first jump and almost fell, 2) girl doubled on the next one when they were supposed to triple jump (which apparently by rule gives both of them a double jump), and 3) both fell at the same time a couple jumps later (the girl went down to a hand and the guy completely fell and struggled to get up). Yeah. This sport makes sense.

The couple behind them has a perfect performance and just squeaks by them, perfectly logical.

So the current and final pair, if I catch the announcers right deserve to win because everyone likes them, and it is a great story. Great sport ... right.

It's a "sport" where judges get to decide who wins and there's been no shortage of controversy over the years.

If I have NBC figured out, day 5 will consist of a bunch of stuff I would like to see during the day while I will be at work. Prime time will then consist of figure skating with 3 or 4 other events squeezed in at odd times so I have to watch a considerable amount of figure skating to see what I want to watch. Thanks again.
