I'm not so sure about the indigenous people thing. I don't think I would have taken that route to try to impress the rest of the world.
why not?

they are a part of Canada also...

Most of them haven't stopped dancing the entire time.

Holy hell, now they're flying.

I'm not a huge fan of the artsy stuff, but some of it's cool.

A small part. They aren't the center piece of the country.

Steve Dahl commented on that. He seems to think that this is sort of an apology or something.

The Natives have given 20 million to the torch relay and another 25 million to the opening ceremony.

That's a lot of money.

Plus our government hates them. So yeah, this could also be a bit of an apology. Our government really wanted a native light the Olympic flame tonight too, but that's not happening.

I think I have had enough of the ceremony for now. I really just want to see them light the torch, even though whatever technology they are using on the floor there looks pretty impressive.

I believe is is a 71 projectors from different angles for the videos.

I wouldn't have spent so much time on it. If you would have, that is fine.

I was thinking projectors, but I was confused by the fact they didn't seem to be getting blocked by the person standing and walking around, 71 of them would probably be able to fix that problem.
